Saturdays with Rene and Sule

After many months of figuring out and building the SULE store, I finally got it up and running: www.suletheproverbdetective.store (By the way, THANK YOU Jennifer Williams for my very first sale, invoice 00001). Of course, I thought building out the store was going to be challenging. And it was. But comparing that feat to me trying to figure out how to get Sule to his audience --- it was a piece of cake. SEOs, key words, search words, target audience, algorithms...it's all so foreign to an author like me. My goal was to write a book that kids would enjoy. That's it. But I'm finding out that if you're going to write a book, especially as a self-published author, you might as well get ready to become a businessperson, an influencer, a marketer, a web designer, an accountant....be prepared to wear all of those titles, plus more. Yes, it's a lot of work, but it's part of the journey. So, keep it moving and always remember the words of SULE.... (listen to the video).
